Luis Vargas focuses on local and cross-border corporate structures, corporate governance practices, and general contract negotiation. Likewise, Luis has extensive experience providing legal advice on reorganization matters as well as complex corporate transactions in national and international franchises and joint ventures.

Luis expertly drives mergers and acquisitions for a diverse portfolio of local and international companies across key sectors such as construction, energy, real estate, retail, and agriculture. His extensive expertise extends to foreign and domestic investments, with a particular focus on private equity. He provides strategic counsel to fund managers navigating investment opportunities in Peru, ensuring thorough due diligence processes.

Currently, Luis heads the Corporate and M&A practice in Peru and co-leads the US-LatAm Corporate M&A/Private Equity Practice for DLA Piper, solidifying his position as a leading practitioner in the field.
