DLA Piper's Sanctions Matrix - January 2024 issue

We are pleased to announce the publication of our Sanctions Matrix 2024.

The matrix summaries all UK, EU and US sanctions currently in force and is updated on a quarterly basis.

Of particular relevance in this edition is:

• A concise summary of key sanctions targeting Russia, Belarus and areas of non-government controlled Ukraine.
• A new approach to the colour-coded risk assessment, to reflect today’s more multilateral approach to sanctions.
• The escalation of the risk rating of Myanmar (as well as of Russia, Belarus and areas of non-government controlled Ukraine).
• Removals of sanctions regimes now lifted (such as Egypt) and the addition of new regimes (such as Niger).
