DLA Piper partner John Gibson named to the Daily Journal’s 2022 Top Antitrust Lawyers list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that partner John Gibson was named to the Daily Journal’s 2022 Top Antitrust Lawyers list honoring the top attorneys across the state of California who have made significant contributions in antitrust law. This marks his second consecutive year on the prestigious list.

The publication noted several of Gibson’s recent achievements, including winning an arbitration award for his client in a dispute over royalties related to a medication used to improve the ability to walk in people with multiple sclerosis. The Daily Journal also noted that Gibson successfully argued a motion to transfer multiple class actions filed around the US to the Northern District of California for a Silicon Valley technology company and served as lead trial counsel for the Los Angeles Clippers franchise in litigation against its former owner. Gibson told the publication that “effective listening, connection, and advocacy” are a few of the keys to his success as a lawyer.

Gibson focuses his practice on complex litigation, including class action, multi-district and antitrust litigation. He has won high-profile civil trials and cases in California and around the nation for healthcare, branded-pharmaceutical and technology companies, as well as professional sports teams, celebrities and pro bono clients seeking social justice.
