Piotr Czulak advises on personal data protection, intellectual property, telecommunications, new technologies, advertising and copyright law, as well as on cloud services and AI. He also supports clients in ongoing privacy and regulatory matters.

He works with both Polish and multinational companies from a wide range of sectors, including banking, telecommunications, energy, pharmaceutical, fintech, medtech, e-marketing and gaming, helping them to introduce sophisticated products and tools onto the Polish market.

Piotr has extensive experience in drafting various documents related to compliance with personal data protection law, including privacy policies, privacy notices, consent clauses and data processing entrustment agreements.

He is a regular speaker at conferences devoted to the GDPR and the legal aspects of IT, as well running training sessions and workshops on these topics. He frequently contributes articles to the professional press and to gaming magazines.

  • Reviewing and drafting privacy documentation and policies for two of the biggest banks in Poland, in particular in relation to innovative FinTech tools, and providing ongoing advice on matters related to privacy and new technologies.
  • Conducting employee interviews and an initial due diligence review related to GDPR implementation, and drafting reports and the necessary document templates during the implementation process for several large entities from the energy sector.
  • Providing ongoing advice and reviewing agreements and policies for major gaming companies and the largest video streaming platform , in particular in relation to privacy, advertising and gambling matters.
  • Providing ongoing advice and drafting documents for major pharmaceutical companies connected with the introduction of medtech solutions onto the Polish market.
  • Advising on personal data protection and IP compliance issues related to M&A transactions.
  • Advising a major bank on the potential implementation of innovative security measures using biometrics and the use of e-marketing.
  • Reviewing and drafting GDPR-related documentation and IT agreements for local and international entities from the financial sector.
