Pieter Vermeulen is a corporate lawyer with a focus on public and private M&A and joint ventures, both in a national and international context. His core practice includes private equity buy-and-build acquisitions and exits, strategic acquisitions across a variety of sectors, complex cross-border transactions and corporate governance issues. Pieter also advises on general corporate law matters which ties in with his 10%-mandate at the University of Antwerp in the research group on corporate an financial law.

  • Advising a Dutch private equity fund on the acquisition of a majority stake in a leading premium nutrition expert for the aquatics and aquaculture segments.
  • Advising the majority shareholder of a fumigation leader in Belgium, the Netherlands and Slovenia on its strategic buy-out.
