Robert Allen is particularly experienced in all forms of commercial agreements, as well as M&A transactions. He has been involved in several large corporate reconstructions with cross-border elements, and is the Melbourne office representative dealing with international companies that wish to establish and operate wholly-owned trading subsidiaries in Australia.

Robert's practice also focuses on trusts, complex wills and estate planning as well as financial and succession planning issues, and he has presented at seminars on these topics.

In addition, he has experience acting as company secretary for a listed transport and cold storage company where he was responsible for the large scale divestment of the trading businesses of that entity, the return of capital to shareholders and the de-listing from the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). He also assisted a professional services firm to acquire complementary businesses and revise the constituent documents of the enlarged entity.

Robert acts primarily for non-listed manufacturing and trading companies, professional services firms and high net worth individuals, as well as Australian subsidiaries of international corporations.

He is a founding member of our Supply Chain and Logistics Group, dealing particularly with storage, logistic, distribution and transport contracts.
