Her clients include insurers in Australia and other countries, as well as self-insureds, individuals and corporations from the construction, property development, energy and professional sectors.

Amanda's principal experience in the insurance sector covers general liability, property damage and business interruption, including building and construction. She has acted in many types of matters, ranging from domestic insurance claims to complex, multi-party large quantum liability disputes.

She also has extensive experience in the commercial litigation field and has acted in building and construction contract disputes, estate and probate claims, breaches of trust, fiduciary actions including directors and officers disputes, disputed share sale agreements, contractual breaches and misleading and deceptive conduct.

Amanda regularly appears in state and federal courts in connection with contested and non-contested matters and case management processes, as well as representing clients at informal and pre-trial conferences and as instructing solicitor at trial. Where appropriate, she uses alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration and mediation.

In addition to commercial litigation skills, Amanda acts on behalf of the health sector regulatory authority in proceedings against health professionals, including conduct of disciplinary proceedings in the State Administrative Tribunal and hearings before the professional standard committee.
