Kim Broadbent has 10 years' experience in the global PPP market, focusing primarily on large scale transport and infrastructure projects.

She has significant light rail and other PPP experience, having acted for government, sponsors, construction contractors, operators, maintainers and funders on a number of deals. This gives Kim an in-depth understanding of the key risks in relation to these projects from the perspective of all stakeholders.

She regularly advises on procurement options and overall deal structure, to ensure risks are appropriately dealt with in the legal documentation in a way which achieves government objectives, while remaining attractive and bankable to private sector participants. In addition to advising on project documents, Kim drafts and negotiates associated finance, equity and sub-debt documentation and is able to apply this knowledge to all aspects of a transaction.
