Michelle Hurley is experienced in all aspects of banking and finance law, working with domestic lenders and public and private sector clients. She advises on a range of financing products, including preparing market-specific facility and security documents, representing lenders and borrowers in secured finance transactions, undertaking due diligence on a range of corporate acquisitions and acting for corporate entities in corporate borrowing transactions involving multi-million dollar sums.

Michelle also prepares general banking and transaction-specific documentation and provides advice on compliance with the Consumer Credit Code and the Personal Property Securities Act 2009.

In addition, Michelle advises on financing issues, including financial assistance, related party transactions, corporate benefit, provision of guarantees and indemnities (both monetary and performance) in corporate transactions, security trust arrangements, convertible note arrangements, intercompany loans and stamp duty structuring.
