Simon Huxley is a senior projects lawyer with extensive experience in the cross-border M&A, project development and project financing transactions in Asia, Australia and Europe. 

Simon advises sponsors, lenders and other participants on the financing and development of energy, oil and gas and other resources projects and their associated infrastructure.  He has extensive experience in export credit and multisource financings, and has strong lender side experience. 

Simon focuses on the underlying project and commercial contracts such as concession arrangements, PPA and other foundation off-take arrangements, construction & procurement agreements (including bespoke EPC, EPCM, D&C and supply and installation contracts as well as a number of the industry standard forms), O&M and other services agreements, gas transportation and fuel supply arrangements, and terminal use agreements. Simon also has extensive experience negotiating financier direct deeds with respect to many of these documents.

Simon has a strong understanding of international markets and approaches. Prior to working in Australia, Simon was based in Singapore and London and has worked extensively with clients who are active in Asia, including China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and the Philippines.
