Lenny Leerdam has a distinguished record of service and achievement as a Senior Government Lawyer over a period of more than 20 years. He has had a senior role in private practice since 2000, focusing on immigration and refugee law, Commonwealth Government litigation and high volume workflow solutions. His client base consists of Australian Government departments and regulatory agencies.

Lenny is an accomplished advocate in federal courts and tribunals. He has been appointed by the Attorney-General (pursuant to section 63 of the Judiciary Act 1903 (Cth)) to receive service of Court documents on behalf of the Commonwealth of Australia. Lenny's immigration knowledge is an important element in an industry initiative, in combination with a major banking group and accounting firm, to facilitate investment inflows into Australia.

Lenny has instructed Australia's Solicitor-General in several landmark cases in the High Court of Australia involving the Refugees Convention.
