Luanne Lu has broad experience in the area of corporate, banking and commercial law, with a particular focus on foreign investment in China. 

Luanne has represented numerous US, European, Korean, Korean and Chinese clients in a wide range of industries (including but not limited to manufacturing, commercial trading, direct selling, pharmacy, insurance, VC funds, real estate development) with respect to their joint venture incorporations, corporate finance matters, M&A activities, corporate restructurings, fund formations, venture capital/private equity deals and other foreign investment issues. Luanne has assisted many multinational companies with their new and/or re-investment projects in China.

Luanne has also assisted various clients of different industries with their daily business operations in China, including advising on clients' inquiries regarding employment, environmental protection, contract disputes, etc; attending the regular board and/or shareholders' meetings and preparing the minutes/resolutions; drafting and reviewing various contracts, including but not limited to loan, pledge, sales, employment, lease, franchising, technology licensing agreements and facilitating communications and discussions between the clients and the relevant Chinese government authorities.

Luanne was admitted to practise law in China in 1999. She is fluent in Mandarin, English and Cantonese.
