Alicia Murray's particular areas of focus are regulatory disputes and investigations, including competition law, Financial Markets Conduct Act, Fair Trading Act, and Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act. She also has experience in compliance issues, anti-corruption and bribery, contractual disputes and insurance matters.

Alicia has advised clients on Commerce Commission investigations, and defended clients in proceedings commenced by the Commerce Commission under all those acts. She has also acted for clients defending proceedings brought by the Financial Markets Authority.

She has provided advice to clients about the interpretation of contracts, and potential remedies or enforcement options available for breach of contract.

Alicia has appeared in court, as well as in meditations, arbitrations, and judicial settlement conferences. She has also provided advice and training seminars on compliance issues, including in relation to competition law, bribery and corruption, fair trading, and anti-money laundering.
