Tom Ritchie's broad experience reflects the various challenges facing modern resources companies. He has advised companies in large-scale joint venture disputes, and breach of contract and negligence claims for and against mining services companies.

Tom has guided public companies and executives through regulatory investigations, including with respect to insider trading. He has defended mining executives in class actions. He has also acted in the Land Court, in judicial review proceedings brought against the State, and defended companies in environmental prosecutions.

Tom has advised on a number of internal shareholder disputes concerning private companies, including in relation to shareholder oppression. He has also acted for clients in proceedings before the High Court of Australia, the Federal Court, and various State courts and Tribunals.
