Emma Sweet practises in the areas of civil litigation, dispute resolution and public law. She has appeared as counsel in the Family, District Court, High Court, Court of Appeal, and before specialist tribunals.

Emma has experience advising clients and resolving disputes across a range of civil matters, including professional negligence, insurance, building and construction disputes, insolvency and debt recovery, and complex relationship property.

She acts for a number of local authorities and has in in-depth knowledge of key local government legislation. She advises on governance and decision making, electoral services, rating issues and information law.

Emma has wide range of commercial dispute resolution experience. She also acts for a variety of public sector organisations undertaking litigation and providing advice on legislation and public law decision making.
