Kate Wills has experience in providing legal advice and opinions on employment law matters, including advising on dismissal, restructuring and redundancy, performance management and obligations around workplace health and safety.  

In the health law context, Kate works on instruction from a substantial international indemnity organisation that indemnifies the majority of medical and dental practitioners in New Zealand.  This involves providing legal advice, managing clients through investigations by various regulatory authorities, complaints processes and court proceedings, and research and opinion writing.

Kate has gained exposure to various general civil litigation matters. She has provided advice on legal issues arising from the application of the Privacy Act 1993, the Official Information Act 1982 and the Health Information Privacy Code 1994.
