Madelaine Hogan has over 8 years’ experience in projects and construction contracts, dispute avoidance and resolution.

Since arriving in Perth in February 2020, Madelaine has been assisting in the representation of a multinational construction and engineering joint venture contractor in an ICC arbitration (valued in excess of USD 1 billion), arising out of a multi-billion dollar LNG project off the coast of northern Australia.

During this time, Madelaine has also acted for a range of construction and infrastructure clients advising on a variety of forms of construction contracts and project and mining infrastructure related contracts, both in Western Australia and Internationally.

From 2018 to early 2020, Madelaine completed a pro bono secondment to the Government of the Republic of Vanuatu, providing contracting, project management and legal assistance to government departments in Port Vila.

Madelaine has advised and acted for clients in a range of matters throughout Australia, the United Kingdom and Middle East, including construction contract management and administration, dispute resolution, and complex security of payment disputes.
