Patent expertise of DLA Piper (Canada) LLP highlighted in LMG Life Sciences Awards shortlist

DLA Piper (Canada) LLP is pleased to be short-listed in multiple categories for the 2017 LMG Life Sciences Awards, which recognize leading firms and lawyers in North America who have achieved distinction in the life sciences industry.  

The firm is short-listed for Canadian Patent Contentious Firm of the Year and Canadian Patent Non-Contentious Firm of the Year. In addition, two partners in the Intellectual Property and Technology Group are up for individual honours.

Ron Dimock has been short-listed for Canadian Patent Litigation Attorney of the Year. Ron is one of Canada’s leading intellectual property litigators and has participated in more patent trials and more appeals from patent trials than any other lawyer in the country.

Sangeetha Punniyamoorthy has been short-listed in the categories of Canadian Patent Non-Contentious Attorney of the Year and Canadian Rising Star. Sangeetha has over a decade of experience litigating complex intellectual property matters and is proficient in the strategic procurement and enforcement of global brands in a variety of industries, with a focus on pharmaceuticals.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on September 13, 2017 in New York.
