Erin Chamberlain practises civil and commercial ligation, and transportation law with a particular focus on ‎railway matters.‎

She represents clients and assists senior counsel on a broad range of civil and commercial disputes, ‎including estate litigation and class action defence.‎

Erin’s transportation practice focuses on using statutory remedies to obtain better rail service for shippers, ‎terminals, and other clients. These remedies include arbitration on level of services and level of service ‎complaint proceedings before the Canadian Transportation Agency. Erin also has extensive experience ‎with demurrage disputes.

Erin earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of ‎British Columbia. During law school, she was an active member of the University of Alberta’s Student ‎Legal Services, in the Criminal Law Division.‎

Erin joined the firm as a summer student in 2017, articled with the firm in 2018, and became an associate in ‎‎2019. In addition to her experience at DLA Piper, Erin has interned with a prominent commercial real estate ‎company, and a criminal law firm in Vancouver.
