Emma Cosgrave maintains a commercial litigation practice with a focus on construction law. 

Emma assists clients with a wide array of construction issues, including delay claims, breach of trust actions, construction liens, professional negligence and contract disputes.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Emma worked at a commercial litigation boutique and articled at a construction litigation firm where she worked on high-profile construction arbitration and litigation files. While in law school at Queen’s University, Emma worked as a teacher’s assistant at the Smith School of Business, assisting in educating undergraduates in the school’s business law course. In her second year of law school, Emma worked as a summer student at a legal aid clinic in Kingston, Ontario.
