Laura Easton is a litigator who has a broad general practice with a particular emphasis on employment and oil and gas law. Laura also advises corporations and educational institutions with compliance issues and establishing policy, particularly with respect to concerns surrounding human rights.

She has appeared in Alberta Provincial Court, the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and British Columbia Supreme Court, the Alberta Residential Dispute Tenancy Service, the Alberta Surface Rights Board, and has also participated in private arbitrations and Alberta Human Rights Commission processes. Laura has also worked on matters before the Alberta Court of Appeal.

Laura has contributed to a number of firm publications, and has been actively involved in the firm’s Employment and Labour publications and client seminars. A number of Laura’s publications have been picked up for re-publication on third party media outlets, including, Workplace Environmental Health & Safety Report, Canadian Employment Law Today, Lexology, CanLII Connects, and JD Supra.
