Kevin Hoy practises in our Restructuring and Insolvency Group.‎

Kevin has an extensive background in insolvency and restructuring and commercial litigation. He has ‎‎successfully represented clients before the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Court of ‎‎Queen’s Bench, and various administrative tribunals. ‎

Kevin’s experience includes acting as first or second chair in numerous insolvency proceedings such ‎as applications under ‎the Companies Creditors’ Arrangement Act and counsel to senior secured ‎creditors in Bankruptcy and ‎Insolvency Act receivership proceedings. ‎He has served as lead counsel ‎in multiple civil trials and applications for summary judgment, numerous contested Chambers ‎applications, and has acted for chartered ‎banks and private lenders in residential, commercial, and ‎farmland foreclosure actions.‎
