Sara Pedlow practises wills, estates and trusts law, with an emphasis on estate planning, estate administration and incapacity matters.

Sara assists clients with preparing wills, powers of attorney, healthcare representation agreements, and the documentation to settle a variety of trust structures. Sara’s clients trust her to develop practical and tax-efficient plans that are tailored to the client’s individualized circumstances, vision and goals.

Sara has a wide range of experience in all aspects of wills, trusts and estates, including related ‎litigation. She has represented both individuals and corporate clients at all levels of ‎court in British Columbia‎, in areas ranging from commercial litigation and insurance disputes, to estates litigation and family law. Sara offers her unique perspective to provide a creative and realistic approach to legal work. When counseling executors, trustees, beneficiaries and committees, Sara draws on her extensive litigation background to avoid and resolve disputes without requiring court intervention.

Sara sits on the Executive of BC Branch of the Canadian Bar Association’s Wills and Trusts section and on the Mentorship and Documentary committees of the British Columbia Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a global professional body comprised of lawyers, accountants, financial advisors and other practitioners that help families plan for their future.
