François Tremblay has a commercial and corporate law practice with a focus on integrity compliance matters and corporate governance. In addition to French and English, François is fluent in Japanese and has advised clients on integrity compliance matters in the public and private sector both in Canada and in Japan. 

François has developed specialized expertise in matters of integrity and compliance. He has had the opportunity to act in important matters in Africa, the Middle East, and Japan in which he assisted clients in reviewing, updating and drafting integrity compliance programs as well as in conducting internal investigations. He has also advised Canadian clients, both in the public and private sector, on matters of ethics and compliance and on procurement processes.

François advises Canadian clients on commercial and corporate law as well as acquisitions, and has also acted in matters of commercial litigation at all levels of court in the province of Quebec.

François has always had a keen interest for international matters, especially for the Asia Pacific region. Before his legal career, he obtained a B.A. in international studies, with a minor in Japanese studies, in 2006. This led him to live in Japan for several years and work as a teacher, translator, interpreter, and consultant.
