Juan Pablo Amaya

Juan Pablo advises on the full range of corporate governance issues for listed and non-listed firms, family-owned and venture-backed companies, directors, financiers and others. He also focuses on corporate governance-related litigation, including shareholder lawsuits, squeeze-out procedures and D&O liability claims.

Before joining the firm, Juan was one of the judges for Colombia’s business court, where he presided over hundreds of disputes involving a variety of corporate law issues. He has also lectured on corporate law at different Colombian universities in undergraduate and graduate programs.
