Sergio Rojas leads DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán's Liability and Damages practice.

He focuses his practice on general litigation (domestic and cross border), acting in various fields of civil and commercial law including corporate and contractual dispute. Sergio's experience includes insurance and reinsurance law.

His client list is vast and includes companies in the aerospace and automotive industries, as well as oil and insurance companies and public Colombian entities.

Before joining DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán, Sergio was an associate attorney at two prominent Colombian law firms. He also served as an advisor to the President of the International Insurance Law Association.

Since 2012, Sergio has served as a professor of Torts Law at Universidad Javeriana and Universidad de Los Andes. He is also a lecturer in several post-graduate programs at Universities in Bogotá, Cartagena and Medellín.

Sergio has published various books regarding Liability and Damages in Colombia and Spain. He is the chief redactor of the Personal Injuries Law Proposal currently under discussion at the Colombian National Congress.
