Dr Philipp Clemens has longstanding and comprehensive experience in advising German and international clients on complex, cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures and investments, with a particular focus on the Renewable Energy, Infrastructure and Technology sectors (incl. Venture Capital investments). In addition, he has specific experience with corporate restructurings and distressed M&A.

Philipp has advised international DAX and S&P 100 companies on key strategic transactions, joint ventures and investments and is named as one of Germany’s leading lawyers for Corporate by Handelsblatt in cooperation with Best Lawyers.

He is an active member of DLA Piper’s Technology Sector Group, the Energy and Natural Resources Sector Group and the Sustainable Investments Focus Group.
