Michael Fiddy is recognised as a market leader in portfolio and distressed real estate restructuring.  He continues to win and manage high-profile, complex and strategic instructions. He mainly acts for financial institutions, funds, debtors, creditors and office holders domestically and internationally.

Michael is the Global Co-Chair of DLA Piper's Restructuring group. He leads our restructuring practice across, Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.

Michael joined DLA Piper in 1995 and made partner in 1999. Between 2000 to 2002, Michael served as Managing Director of Fulham Football Club and associated companies during which period they secured promotion to the Premier League. He returned to DLA Piper as a partner in 2002. Michael led the London Restructuring Group before becoming co-chair of the Global Restructuring Group in 2015.
