Heidi Hoelgaard is highly skilled in data protection and previously held a position as Nordic corporate legal counsel in a world-leading data-collecting and distribution enterprise, where, for several years, she was engaged in data protection and issues of IT and business law, etc. In this enterprise, she gained extensive experience of the practical implementation of data protection compliance and sat on a number of boards of directors.

Heidi advises on all aspects of data protection law, including the definition of legal risks in connection with the processing of personal data, technical and organisational data safety requirements, preparation of privacy policies and compliance manuals, data protection in connection with the use of data processors, outsourcing and business transfers, etc. In addition, Heidi has extensive practical experience of crisis management in connection with data security breaches, inspection and complaints procedures at the Danish Data Protection Agency, international data transfers and discussions with the Agency in connection with product development, in Denmark as well as abroad.

Moreover, Heidi focuses on the special rules applying to credit rating agencies. Heidi is, furthermore, engaged in general commercial issues and business law and has wide experience in drawing up and negotiating commercial contracts, IT contracts and outsourcing contracts.
