Dimitri has acted in connection with a number of international energy projects; most recently, he advised the Sponsors in connection with the acquisition and associated financing of a 414 MW gas-fired power plant in Nigeria. He is also currently advising Oando in connection with its $1.9 billion acquisition of the upstream oil & gas assets of ConocoPhillips in Nigeria.

Dimitri recently advised Agility Trains in connection with the landmark £2.3 billion project financing of the West Coast Mainline rolling stock procurement as part of the Intercity Express Programme in the United Kingdom, involving tranches of senior debt from JBIC, EIB, NEXI-covered Lenders and commercial banks. The Transaction was awarded "European PPP deal of the Year" by Project Finance International.

In addition, Dimitri has extensively advised clients in relation to ECA-backed financings; recently, he advised the lenders in connection with a MIGA-covered project financing of a reverse osmosis desalination plant in West Africa. Previously, he acted as common counsel for the lenders in connection with a complex, multi-tranche financing (including a number of ECAs and DFIs, such as SEK, EKN, Proparco, DBSA, EDC and others) of a mobile telephony operator in Tanzania.

Further, Dimitri has significant experience of renewable energy projects, especially in the UK, having advised the borrower (a subsidiary of Eaga plc) in connection with the project financing of Project Bright, the UK's first project financing of a large-scale roof-top PV portfolio. Dimitri also advised the successful bidders for Zone 1 of the UK's Round 3 offshore wind farm project.
