About

Since he became Master of Law in 2003, Kristian Skovgård Larsen has worked intensively within the areas of construction law and dispute resolution. In this relation, Kristian has assisted a series of players in the construction industry in tendering procedures, negotiation and completion of a number of significant construction projects.

In 2008-2009, Kristian completed his LLM in construction law while he was on secondment with a law firm in Glasgow in its department dealing with contentious construction.

In 2015, he was an acting High Court judge of the Danish Western High Court for three months and, subsequently, he completed the certified mediator training at the Association of Danish Law Firms, which qualifies for working as a mediator and as a party’s representative in mediations.

Furthermore, Kristian participates in consultations and committee work relating to the forthcoming revision of the standard terms (AB, ABT and ABR) applied in the Danish construction industry.

Publications

Kristian is an author of several articles on procurement and construction law and a co-author of the Denmark chapter of Getting the Deal Through – Construction in 2014 and 2015.
