Johan Sundberg is experienced in advising clients in relation to termination due to redundancy and personal reasons, dismissals and loyalty issues. He also regularly assists clients in drawing up employment contracts for managing directors and other employees. Johan is also a co-author of the book “Scandinavian Employment Law”.

In addition Johan leads DLA Piper´s Swedish data privacy practice. He advises a number of Swedish and multinational companies in relation to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other data privacy issues such as whistleblowing, data breach handling, data privacy audits, international data transfer issues, policies and procedures, screening against sanctions lists, negotiations and drafting of data processor agreements, and more. Furthermore, he acts as External Data Protection Officer (Sw: Personuppgiftsombud) for a number of companies.
