DLA Piper advises Maintpartner Group on outsourcing transaction with Fortum

DLA Piper has advised Maintpartner Group, a Nordic supplier of industrial maintenance and operation services, on the transfer of operation and maintenance services of several power plants and district heating networks in Finland, owned by Fortum Corporation.

The outsourcing transaction includes the operation and maintenance activities of the CHP plants and district heating networks in Espoo, Järvenpää and Joensuu as well as the condensing power plants Meri-Pori and Inkoo. Approximately 230 employees will be transferred to Maintpartner in connection with the transaction, which is subject to the approval of the competition authority.
