Kai has advised international and national clients on all areas of employment and labour law and was instructed on the following:

  • Advising a huge German and Multi-National Company (more than 10,000 employees) on a cross-border merger, including transfer of business issues
  • Advising an international financial services company on setting up a new variable compensation scheme, including negotiation with the works council
  • Advising an international financial services company on data-privacy and employment issues relating to background checks
  • Advising an international aviation  company on the restructuring of its German business, resulting in the lay-off of 50% (more than 100) of its headcount, including consultations with the works council
  • Advising a German financial services company on regulatory requirements for the remuneration of their board members.
