Christian Schoop advises national and international companies on all issues of commercial criminal law and the monitoring of criminal investigations. This includes both the representation of companies having suffered damage and those cases where employees committed criminal offences to the alleged benefit of the company.

A further focus of his work is on advising companies with regard to internal investigations and on the development and implementation of compliance systems. Furthermore, Christian Schoop monitors the conduct of compliance due diligence, in particular in the context of M&A transactions.

In many cases, the advice also includes the involvement of international colleagues, e.g. from the U.S. or Great Britain.

In addition to advising on conventional white-collar crimes, such as corruption and breach of trust, Christian Schoop specializes in environmental offences and offences related to cyber-attacks.
