DLA Piper has added to its Real Estate and Corporate practice groups with three hires in Rome. Filippo Cecchetti, partner, joins together with Eleonora Laurito, legal director and Giulia Minetti Floccari, lawyer. All three hires come from Chiomenti Studio Legale where Filippo has worked as a partner since 2015.
Filippo has experience advising leading Italian asset management companies, national and foreign institutional investors, private equity funds, industrial companies and entrepreneurs in the sale and acquisition of companies and real estate portfolios. He has also advised on leases, as well as service and hotel management contracts.
The new joiners in Italy follow the appointment of Sarah Thomas as a partner in the UK Real Estate practice group.
Antoine Mercier, Global Co-Chair, Real Estate practice group at DLA Piper, said: "These new hires in our Rome office reflect the further consolidation of the firm's leadership position in the real estate sector. We continue to grow as a fully integrated team that delivers global services with a local perspective, working with clients across the lifecycle of their investments."
