Gabriela Mello has a wide experience in the management and prevention of environmental issues in several industry sectors such as infrastructure, energy, mining, logistics, food, real estate, including the conduction of litigations within the administrative and judicial spheres.

She provided services to international clients with business in Brazil and to national clients, dealing with routine business matters, particularly in relation to environmental licensing, take-back system and management of solid wastes in general, contamination, specifically protected areas, among others.

Her practice further encompasses the identification of environmental risks in different kind of projects (M&A, banking, capital markets and real estate transactions), as well as the allocation of liabilities between the parties involved.

She has previously worked in Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Ópice Advogados, Motta Fernandes Advogados and Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association to Mayer Brown LLP.
