Being a good lawyer is about more than just knowing the law. It's about understanding how those laws affect your clients' business.

About

Willemijn Rensen is an intellectual property lawyer with a lot of experience in complex, cross-border dispute resolution and litigation. Her practice is mostly focused on the consumer goods, food and retail and life sciences sectors. In addition to being specialized in both soft-IP and patent law, she is also very knowledgeable on product liability, general tort, breach of contract and other civil matters.

Willemijn genuinely enjoys getting to know her clients and their businesses, and is always looking to help them solve legal issues with practical solutions. She is very precise and analytical, and ensures her clients are aware of all (practical) considerations in order to help them make informed decisions. She will always put her clients' interests first, but is not afraid to speak her mind.

She is particularly experienced in all matters revolving trademark infringement, including negotiations on settlement agreements and arguing her client's interests before the court. Prior to joining the IPT department, she gained vast experience in general dispute resolution concerning all civil matters, in the litigation and regulatory department.
