Martijn van Wanroij focuses on EU and trade law in a broad sense. He advises clients with respect to European and Dutch competition law, state aid, public procurement and various regulatory matters such as product and safety rules. Martijn also regularly advises on contract law, with specific focus on distribution and agency agreements.

Martijn has broad experience with competition investigations and merger notifications and he has represented clients in several competition cases before the Dutch competition authority (ACM) and the European Commission, as well as in ensuing judicial appeals. Martijn also regularly advises on EU and national import and export control and sanction regulations, and assists in obtaining the necessary licences for export of military or dual use goods. Martijn represents clients in civil and administrative litigation in all aforementioned areas.
