Two partners recognised in Jeune Afrique’s top 50 lawyers in Francophone Africa

DLA Piper is delighted to announce that Michael Ostrove, Global Co-Chair of International Arbitration, and Mouhamed Kebe, Managing Partner of DLA Piper Africa member firm in Senegal, GENI & KEBE, have again been nominated in Jeune Afrique’s top 50 lawyers in Francophone Africa 2019. It is the third consecutive year that the firm has been recognised in the list.

Paris-based Michael Ostrove is ranked for the third time. He is commended for his role in several high-visibility international arbitration cases, including representing the Republic of Guinea against BSGR and representing the Democratic Republic of Congo in a dispute worth over USD100 million.

Dakar-based Mouhamed Kebe, is ranked for the third time and is recognised for his work across several francophone African countries including Senegal, Burkina Faso, Mauritania and Chad, and as one of a handful of Africans based in Africa mentioned in the ranking.

Jeune Afrique is a French-language pan-African weekly news magazine and is the most widely read pan-African magazine. The publication focuses on African political, economic, social and cultural news. The Jeune Afrique Media Group not only organises the well-known Africa CEO Forum but publishes The Africa Report magazine.
