DLA Piper adds Ari Feder to Investment Funds practice in New York
DLA Piper has expanded its Investment Funds practice with the addition of Ari Feder, who brings nearly two decades of experience advising on tax issues in the private equity and alternative investment fund industry.
Feder, based in New York, advises private equity sponsors, alternative investment managers, and institutional investors on fund formation, structuring, M&A transactions, partnership taxation, and cross-border investments. His experience spans private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate joint ventures, and other alternative investment vehicles.
“Clients are looking for counsel who can connect technical tax insight with a practical understanding of how private funds are formed, invested, and managed across jurisdictions,” said Nicole Brennig, who co-leads the firm’s global Investment Funds practice in the US. “Ari’s arrival reflects our continued commitment to serving clients across the evolving private funds landscape.”
The firm’s global investment funds team provides a dynamic, integrated service to sponsors, fund managers and institutional investors, supported by the firm’s international tax and regulatory networks. The team advises clients on the full spectrum of private investment funds, all major investment strategies, and all stages of a private investment fund's life cycle.
