DLA Piper advises REGENT Craft on Series B funding round
DLA Piper advised maritime mobility company REGENT Craft, the developer and manufacturer of Seaglider™ vessels, on its US$240 million Series B funding round to accelerate its manufacturing in response to growing defense contracts and commercial demand.
The round closed in anticipation of the first human flight of REGENT’s Viceroy Seaglider prototype, which occurred on September 2, 2026, in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The Series B will support upcoming milestones for REGENT Craft, including new military partnerships and the commencement of manufacturing operations at its recently completed seaglider manufacturing facility. The round brings REGENT Craft’s total capital raised to US$340 million across equity and debt.
The DLA Piper deal team was led by Partners Fahd Riaz and Dylan Caplan and included Associates Shai Wood and Tom Hauk (all Philadelphia).
