DLA Piper has added Brittany Turner as a Partner in its Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice in San Francisco, further expanding the firm's presence in one of the world's leading innovation and investment markets.

Turner advises venture capital investors, private equity sponsors, and technology companies on investments, financings, strategic transactions, and other corporate matters. She previously served in-house at a leading global technology investment platform, where she helped oversee more than 100 investments across early stage, growth equity, and pre-IPO financing rounds, in addition to follow-on investments, secondary sales, restructurings, and cross-border matters.

“Brittany brings a rare combination of transactional, investor, and in-house experience across the venture capital ecosystem,” said Josh Seidenfeld, who co-leads the firm’s Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice. “Having advised and evaluated transactions from multiple perspectives, she understands the opportunities and challenges our clients face at every stage of growth. Her experience will be invaluable to founders, companies, and investors navigating today's technology markets.”

DLA Piper’s Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice includes more than 200 lawyers who provide strategic counsel to emerging companies and venture capital firms in high-growth industries, including technology, healthcare, life sciences, and financial services. Over the last three years, DLA Piper has completed more than 2,100 financings globally, totaling more than US$80 billion.
