DLA Piper has been recognised as one of the most innovative law firms in Europe by the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Europe report 2018, launched at an awards ceremony hosted in London last night.
The firm received a 'standout' commendation for its Gambian secondment in partnership with UNICEF within the Rule of Law and Access to Justice category. This category assessed law firms' efforts to uphold the rule of law by improving avenues of access to justice for those most vulnerable and advocating social and legislative change.
DLA Piper's Fast Track Delivery Channel was 'highly commended' within the New Business and Service Delivery Models category, in addition to the firm's What In-House Lawyers Need programme, that was 'commended' in the Strategy and Changing Behaviour category. In the Collaboration category, DLA Piper was 'commended' for its partnership with tech start-up, Bloqhouse, as was Amsterdam-based Real Estate associate, Bram Vlaanderen, who drove the initiative.
Now in its thirteenth year, the FT Innovative Lawyers Report assesses lawyers on their innovation both for clients and in their own businesses and is one of the top legal rankings in Europe.
