Musa Farmand is a transactional lawyer who primarily focuses on representing public and private lenders and borrowers in finance transactions, including venture growth financings, secured term loan and revolving loan transactions and other asset-based lending matters, acquisition financings, senior and mezzanine funds, private equity investments, corporate governance, restructuring and general debt matters.

Musa has also assisted on a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings and other general real estate matters. Additionally, he has assisted on cross-border transactions and international regulatory compliance within the corporate context, including due diligence under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and national security reviews relevant to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).

Pro Bono

Musa represented Education for Employment (US) on general corporate matters focused on the company's growth throughout Europe and the Middle East and North Africa. He also participated in a signature pro bono projects for UNICEF focused on transitional justice in The Gambia and the SOS Children's Villages focused on alternative care for children in Zambia. Further, Musa represented Counsel for Court of Excellence in Washington DC on issues facing crossover youth in the District of Columbia. Additionally, Musa represented the Food Research Action Center on an argumentative memorandum to the USDA regarding national school meal debt policies.
