Ron Gould focuses his practice on representing and advising US and international accounting firms in connection with professional liability matters, including audit and consulting litigation, and regulatory investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and state licensing authorities. He frequently consults with major accounting firms on investigations and compliance-related matters. Ron also is a US Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).

Before joining the firm, Ron served seven years in the Office of the General Counsel at Grant Thornton LLP, a major US accounting firm, first as Associate General Counsel and subsequently as Deputy General Counsel. While there, he handled major litigation including the Parmalat litigation, tax shelter matters, the Countrywide litigation and the Winstar litigation.
