Stephen Gombita focuses his practice in the area of patent law, with an emphasis on litigation and client counseling.

Stephen has represented both domestic and foreign companies in patent disputes before district courts, the US International Trade Commission, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Stephen also has experience providing services relating to other aspects of patent law, including providing opinions on the right to use new or existing products and the infringement, validity, and enforceability of US patents; conducting due diligence investigations; and drafting and prosecuting US and foreign patent applications.

Stephen has experience working with a wide array of technologies.  Among them include video signal processing, medical devices, semiconductors, lithium-ion batteries, pharmaceuticals, flexographic printing plates, security camera systems, automated material handling systems, coaxial cable connectors, network security and anti-virus software, GPS and related navigation system technology, wireless communication devices, satellite radio, access control systems, and automobile parts, in-vehicle systems and manufacturing.
