Jonathan Hicks focuses his practice on patent litigation, including competitor patent suits and defending companies from non-practicing entities.  Jonathan is also heavily involved in post-patent proceedings and does patent prosecution.

He has experience representing large and small clients in various district courts, including the Eastern District of Texas, the Northern District of California, the International Trade Commission, California state courts, and Nevada state courts.

Jonathan's current and past matters involve different software and hardware technologies, including phone and computer user interface design, database implementation and design, software drivers, processor-level circuitry, optical devices, tape and data storage libraries, servers, VOIP and telephony software, storage area networks, cellular networks, consumer products, and software, including security, financial, upgrade and web-based software.
