Rebecca Hockin practises corporate and commercial law, primarily in the areas of private mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.

Rebecca acts for clients within a diverse range of industries, including energy, healthcare, entertainment, hospitality and leisure, on a variety of commercial matters from mergers and acquisitions to contractual arrangements relating to everyday business operations and services.

Rebecca regularly assists clients with corporate matters, including formation, organization and structuring, as well as governance issues affecting stakeholders, directors and management, including advising on shareholders agreements and partnership agreements. Rebecca also assists not-for-profit organizations with formation, organization and governance matters.

Rebecca advises borrowers and lenders in connection with secured loans, syndicated loans and acquisition financing.  She has worked with our national projects and infrastructure group on significant projects in Canada in a variety of roles, in particular with the financing aspects of projects and the drafting of subcontracts.
