Michal Kasprowicz’s practice covers all areas of intellectual property law, with a focus on patent and trademark litigation. He has also prosecuted patent applications for large and small innovators, and is a registered Trademark Agent.

Michal has represented clients at all stages of the litigation process: providing pre-litigation opinions, drafting court filings, attending at discovery, preparing expert reports, arguing motions, and appearing at mediations and trials. Building on his technical background, Michal has participated in intellectual property disputes encompassing electronics, lottery systems, mining, recreational vehicles, playground equipment and commercial products.

Beyond his experience in prosecution and litigation, Michal has reviewed and negotiated contracts on subject matter ranging from software licences to film options.

Prior to entering law school, Michal worked as an engineer in the power distribution field where his duties included transformer coordination and transmission system upgrades.
